The Role
We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join our expanding team in our London office. You will play a key role in producing high-quality Civil drawings and models, coordinating with engineers and other disciplines, and contributing to the smooth delivery of a wide variety of building projects.
Key Responsibilities
Produce clear, accurate Autodesk Civil 3D models, drawings and details to support the design of below ground drainage, levels and external works .
Work closely with Civil Engineers and in-house teams (such as Structures and Geotechnical) to help deliver coordinated design information.
Assist with design coordination by sharing information with external architects, MEP engineers and contractors.
Follow established BIM standards, workflows and protocols, helping to ensure consistency across project outputs.
Manage your day-to-day tasks effectively, maintaining quality and meeting agreed deadlines.
Prepare general arrangement drawings, sections, details and schedules across a range of different projects.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Good working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
Experience producing civil drawings and models for projects in the UK.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills, comfortable working with engineers and external design partners.
Understanding of BIM principles and coordinated model processes.
Ability to organise your own workload and deliver work to deadlines.
Desirable
Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar BIM tools.
Awareness of ISO 19650 roles, responsibilities and processes.
Experience using Common Data Environments such as 4Projects or Asite.
Motivation to continue developing your technical skills and progress your career.
