Who We Are
Our Edinburgh team works on a diverse range of multi‑million‑pound projects across higher education, healthcare, residential development, commercial workplaces, conservation and leisure sectors. Current and recent projects include HMP Glasgow, various new build schools projects, hotels, healthcare and commercial.
As Team Leader, you will oversee civil engineering delivery, guide a talented team, support business development activities, and ensure technical excellence across all stages of design and construction.
The Role
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Civils team in Edinburgh as part of the multi-disciplinary growth of the office. We have delivered significant projects throughout and want you to be part of our continued success.
You will be a highly experienced Civil Engineering professional with a strong track record of managing people, delivering complex projects and leading teams. You will be Chartered with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE) and able to demonstrate equivalent capability and leadership experience.
You will have experience across a broad range of civil engineering design disciplines, and will be someone who leads with integrity, supports others, and takes pride in the positive impact that our profession leaves for communities.
The Right Fit
You will be a highly experienced civil engineer, chartered with a relevant professional institution, with a strong track record in managing people and delivering complex civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Technical. Ensure technical excellence in the delivery of projects across the team.
Lead Projects: Manage projects and ensure effective communication with the team.
Client Engagement: Represent the company at meetings with clients, collaborators, architects, and contractors.
Quality Management: Follow and enable the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) processes on all projects.
Resource Management: Manage project resources efficiently within the team.
Training and Development: Provide technical support and training to team members.
