Joining Curtins means becoming part of a warm and welcoming team, where your skills can evolve, your career is nurtured and we work together to create a lasting legacy.
The Role
Curtins Environmental Business Unit was established 20 years ago, and during that time, we have grown significantly to achieve national coverage provided via our seven Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical teams.
We work on a wide range of projects with our residential capabilities and experience ranging from a few dwellings to several thousand dwellings. We also advise on numerous regionally and nationally significant projects, such as new health, education and energy infrastructure. We continue to have significant growth aspirations and to support this; we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to manage all Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical operations across the UK.
This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial, technical, and team-related aspects to ensure the continued success of our operations.
The Right Fit
You will have significant experience operating at a strategic level, with exposure to national operations. Holding chartered status, you will possess excellent technical knowledge and the ability to oversee complex projects.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing work-winning strategies.
You will have proven experience in a senior management role within the Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical sector, with financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial planning being crucial.
You will also demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management skills, along with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Above all, the right fit will be guided by what is right when making decisions, who recognises the contribution of others and shares their successes. Someone who is kind, conscientious, and proud of their work and the legacy our profession leaves for everyone.
