The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Bid Manager to join our team based in Manchester or Liverpool.
You will be supporting business units in securing new work by managing the Bid process both within your regional hub and nationally, to continue our excellent success rate in bidding for and winning projects across all sectors.
Your role will involve working with multiple business units and project leaders to create engaging and persuasive bid proposals and other documents for submission to new and existing clients in the pursuit of winning exciting new projects for the business.
You will be proactive in the production of bid documents and other collateral, and curious in nature, seeking alternative ways to add value to the process, internally and externally.
The Right Fit
- You will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple bids and tasks simultaneously.
- You will be passionate about the Bid process, have previous experience writing significant bids and be eager to win work for the business.
- You will have a creative flare and be competent in using design software such as Adobe InDesign or equivalent.
- You will hold or be willing to work towards an APMP (or equivalent) qualification.
- You will be someone who recognises the contribution of others and shares their successes.
- You will be kind, conscientious and have pride in your work
