Over the last 40+ years Curtins in Kendal have helped to re-shape and improve community spaces, with a real emphasis on conserving the heritage of the beautiful Lake district. Some current projects we are delivering in Kendal include a £30m Hospital in West Cumbria and designing a £75m new University Campus in the centre of Carlisle. We also work on a variety of smaller schemes included Heritage and environmental schemes within the National Park

What you’ll be doing
Working on exciting projects of varying scales and sectors that will enhance communities of the spectacular Lake District and the wider North West region.
Revit modelling, Revit/AutoCAD drawing production and the associated compliance within the office
Quality & information management including understanding & establishing BIM protocols on projects
Mentoring junior staff and helping them to develop their skills.
What we need from you
Significant experience of using AutoCAD and Revit within a BIM environment, including reviewing and commenting on relevant drawings/documentation e.g. BEP, EIR
Ability to understand BIM requirements for projects and how to enhance our offering to clients
Have pride in your work & excellent attention to detail
Able to work in a small team, communicating well, able to delegate tasks and mentor junior staff
Experience producing Highways/Drainage drawings would be ideal, but not essential.
