If you are here looking for a great opportunity to start your career...
... we are ready to welcome great people into our team to do rewarding and challenging work together.
Sound like this might be what you’re after? Let’s find out a bit more about it...
Can you imagine yourself passing through your hometown or city and being able to proudly point out the buildings, structures and infrastructure that you have contributed to?
That is what life is like for many of our team at Curtins as over the last 60+ years, we have re-shaped and improved the skyline of many of our towns and cities.
But what will I actually do?
You will be working on projects pretty much straight away, developing travel planning measures to encourage uptake in green travel modes such as cycling and walking, working with CAD software to design access solutions, using transport planning modelling software.to assess the vehicular impacts of development proposals.
You will prepare transport reports, plans and drawings to support planning applications, namely Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and transport chapters of Environmental Statements. This involves a broad range of tasks, including feasibility studies, sustainable transport strategies, data analysis, traffic modelling and highway design.
What kind of projects will I get to work on?
You will work on a wide variety of projects and land uses, from landmark residential and commercial developments, to hospital masterplans and new schools and colleges. We typically work with planners, architects, and other professionals as part of multi-disciplinary project teams.
Some of the recent Liverpool office flagship projects have been a series of eight residential sites in Wirral totalling over 1,000 houses, a mixed-use Masterplan scheme in the Isle of Man and a series of Solar Farm sites at various locations across the country.
What training & support will I get?
We have a strong focus on our learning culture and we actively support staff through all stages of their career with us. For you this would begin with enrolment in our award-winning Curtins Academy for graduates.
