What you’ll be doing

Working on exciting projects of varying scales and sectors that will enhance communities of the spectacular Lake District.

Some current projects we are delivering include a £30m Hospital in West Cumbria and designing a £75m new University Campus in the centre of Carlisle. We also work on a variety of smaller schemes included Heritage and environmental schemes within the National Park

What we need from you

• Suitably qualified Civil Engineer who is working towards Chartership with ICE, CIWEM (or equivalent)
• Previous experience within a consultancy focusing on Drainage, Flood Risk and/or Highways design
• Delivery focus and keen to improve skills and technical expertise in water management/ flood risk and drainage

Experience using Civils 3D, Flow, Flood Risk Assessments or Highways design (S278/S38) would be advantageous.

2. If successful, we will meet in person or virtually for 30/60-minutes to get to know each other better. Here we will tell you more about the role, so you can decide whether it is right for you
3. If the role is a good fit, we will progress to a more formal Interview; this will last around 60 minutes and you will have the opportunity to showcase your experience
4. If successful, we will make you an offer of employment followed up with our contract of employment to sign and return
5. At this point we will agree a start date and will support you prior to joining us
