What you’ll be doing
Working on exciting projects of varying scales and sectors that will enhance communities of the spectacular Lake District.
Some current projects we are delivering include a £30m Hospital in West Cumbria and designing a £75m new University Campus in the centre of Carlisle. We also work on a variety of smaller schemes included Heritage and environmental schemes within the National Park
What we need from you
- Suitably qualified Civil Engineer who is working towards Chartership with ICE, CIWEM (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within a consultancy focusing on Drainage, Flood Risk and/or Highways design
- Delivery focus and keen to improve skills and technical expertise in water management/ flood risk and drainage
Experience using Civils 3D, Flow, Flood Risk Assessments or Highways design (S278/S38) would be advantageous.

What happens next?

- If successful, we will meet in person or virtually for 30/60-minutes to get to know each other better. Here we will tell you more about the role, so you can decide whether it is right for you
- If the role is a good fit, we will progress to a more formal Interview; this will last around 60 minutes and you will have the opportunity to showcase your experience
- If successful, we will make you an offer of employment followed up with our contract of employment to sign and return
- At this point we will agree a start date and will support you prior to joining us
